Very nice - lots of beautiful landscapes.  That's why some people love America, others love Earth.   :)

ive a brother lives in maine, when i visited in 1999, over winter, we drove to high ground and watched a fabulous, clear skyed sunset, over endless miles of tree tops. awoke to find  four foot of snow [not drifts], every where. dramatic, i love weather. andrew.

Well at least noone quoted when George Carlin said

Oh beautiful, for smoggy skies, insecticided grain
For strip-mined mountain's majesty above the asphalt plain.
America, America, man sheds his waste on thee
And hides the pines with billboard signs, from sea to oily sea!

Poetry of Joyce Kilmer

Trees

(For Mrs. Henry Mills Alden)

I think that I shall never see
A poem lovely as a tree.

A tree whose hungry mouth is prest
Against the earth's sweet flowing breast;

A tree that looks at God all day,
And lifts her leafy arms to pray;

A tree that may in Summer wear
A nest of robins in her hair;

Upon whose bosom snow has lain;
Who intimately lives with rain.

Poems are made by fools like me,
But only God can make a tree.

beautiful stuff

(I just have to say though, that the rest of the earth is just as beautiful; we have no monopoly on the stuff in those pictures.)
