Title: Medical Mysteries
Post by Mrs Deej on Jan 8th, 2007, 8:56pm
Hi y'all!!

Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and a safe New Year.

If anyone would be interested, on Wednesday night ABC's Primetime is featuring Medical Mysteries.  They are doing a story on Moyamoya, the disease that DJ has.

It is scheduled to air on ABC at 9 central, however, the President is supposed to speak sometime that night, so it may be pushed back.

Hope everyone is doing well!!

Much Love,
Steph

Moyamoya disease- a cerebral vascular disorder in which the main cerebral arteries at base of the brain are replaced by a fine network of vessels it is characterized by convulsions, hemiplegia, mental retardation, and subarachnoid hemorrhage patients who survive into adulthood are susceptible to massive intracerebral hemorrhage caused by rupture of the fragile network of new vessels I got that from  Mosby's Medical, Nursing, & Allied Health Dictionary 5th Edition.
