Took the boys to see a movie yesterday (Night at the Museum--it was hilarious) and had a ball. Got a phone call from my husband right afterward and about drove off the road. It seems that a "friend" of his that he painted a truck for misunderstood his price quote of $4,000 for $400 dollars. $400 is $600 shy of the cost of the paint. When my husband told him, he was nice enough to say that if he ever wrecked anything again he would definitely bring it to him again. I was expecting him to blow up by the time he got home from work, but the only thing he said was how blessed we are to have what we do and that the kids are healthy--what else matters? We went to dinner with some friends, drank many drinks (no HA for me, yay!!!) and had a blast. Thank God for giving me a man who is positve, grateful and hard-working. Life is good--Happy New Year everyone!!!! |
