Title: I Go On The Air In 10 minutes.... Post by B14CK5H33P on Dec 24th, 2006, 12:51pm Having a Soylent Blue Christmas. My machine has been streaming music on Satellite11 since 8pm Friday, and haven't been surfing, checking emails, etc... been too busy, and after running automation for the station for 40 hours solid, I am worried about my machine or broadcaster locking up. If that happens, I have to reset the broadcast sooo.... Gonna be a long, interesting Christmas Eve. I can't get on myspace today to send bulletins for the show, and have no prep, playlist or ANYTHING! Flying by the seat of my pants, Carl D http://satellite11.com All complaints, requests and bitching can be done on sat11's tagbox, or my AIM: cfdreturns |

Been rocking all day, and just past the midway point & already burnt. 12 hour broadcasting is INSANE!!!! Doing the Soylent Sunday Evening Slammer portion of the show. Nothing but heavy stuff...hardcore, etc. the 10th Hour Tribute is to the music of the 70's ;;D *Can't do much online right now, so have to tell everyone a Merry Christmas from here. |

I got the message and played Frank and Moon Zappa's "Valley Girl" for ya. ;) You have to have Winamp to stream the audio on your PC. It's a free download. And Jonny, since you were listening I didn't play any disco, but wait til new years eve... that broadcast will be INSANE since a party is forming at my place and I just found out about it, lol. I pulled it off by the skin of my teeth yesterday, and my mic shorted out at the VERY end when I went to sign off so I just played the Beatles - Good Night. This machine rocks! 52 hours straight and it didn't lock up!!! So for anyone who is staying home on New Years Eve to celebrate, turn on the TV with the sound down to see the pretty people, and tune in to Soylent Radio where it's bound to get ugly since I will be going past midnight to 2am. I realized with as many nicknames as I have, I sound like a Manson family member. Carl D aka Freek aka Spanky aka Mack Danger aka Little Ozzy aka Mr Nipples (ad nauseum). ::) |
