Title: Chinook Post by georgej on Dec 23rd, 2006, 10:11am Went to bed last night, and it was clear, cold (single digits) and frozen solid. Woke up this morning and it's around freezing, everything's melting, and there's a warm wind blowing. The chinook. Any of the Montana contingent getting the chinook? http://69.69.245.68/gallery/russell/chinook2.gif Leastways this winter hasn't been anything like 1888-1889. Best, George |

Title: Re: Chinook Post by BMoneeTheMoneeMan on Dec 23rd, 2006, 10:21am Hey, man, not Montana but Oregon for sure. I was in Central Oregon last week, east of the Cascades. The first night was 9 degrees, then we had a warm wind come through and it was about 25 degrees overnight. You could feel the warmth of the wind, it was weird. Party on and Happy Chanuka. Today is the last day. B$ |
