Title: Re: No matter what holiday you celebrate Post by tommyD on Dec 22nd, 2006, 6:50am Thank you Leesa. Yesterday was the Winter Solstice, celebrated in many cultures, and one reason why Christmas isn't in January. From today on, the days will get longer, the dark nights shorter. To all, this is the return of light, the return of hope, seen in the darkest and coldest of times. Whatever religion, belief or philosophy, that's what we celebrate, after all, this time of year. May your days and nights be free of pain. -tommyD |

From what you said above, it looks like I'll be celebrating Winter Solstice, too - the return of hope. That's a pretty good reason to be celebrating, in my opinion. Thanks Sandy |
