If thats the way your feeling then you need to remember this:

Quote:
And Jehovah said to Satan, Have you set your heart on My servant Job because there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and upright man, fearing God and turning away from evil?

I want to say more than "I'm sorry you're hurting ", but it does help me to know that people care.

Hope you are through this soon.

I apologize.  I misunderstood.

In any case, best wishes for better days ahead still applies.

My last name really is "Job"

Except I'm not as patient as he was.

I'm still in the process of forming what I do and don't accept as natural law, truth and reality;

That being said, my father died in Mar 2000.  Our son Ayden was born July 20, 2000 at 2:20 a.m.; To this day if I hear Mike and the Mechanics, I can't help but see my father's spirit in my youngest sons' tears;

Quote:
I wasnt there that morning
When my father passed away
I didnt get to tell him
All the things I had to say

I think I caught his spirit
Later that same year
Im sure I heard his echo
In my babys new born tears
I just wish I could have told him in the living years

Say it loud, say it clear
You can listen as well as you hear
Its too late when we die
To admit we dont see eye to eye

Those lyrics mirrored identically how things happened when my dad died.  I cried and cried in the delivery room at the tears of my new born - joy and sorrow, bitter sweet.

Very few, and I mean VERY few, I think 3 total outside of my husband and mother know how things have been for me lately.

Take those words seriously, agree to disagree, and tell someone you love them because of their faults and in spite of their virtues.

I walked a mile with Pleasure.
She chattered all the way,
But left me none the wiser
For all she had to say.
I walked a mile with Sorrow,
And ne'er a word said she;
But oh, the things
I learned from her
When Sorrow walked with me!

- Robert Browning

Even Job knew to be thankful for everything.  People think I'm nuts when I say I'm thankful for my problems, all of them.  Embrace the chaos, be thankful.

Thomas,

I'll bump you up a little higher on my prayer list.  Give me a yell if I can help.  I know what it is to feel you have come to the end of things, and that is one reason I have chosen my tagline.  There is more in that passage that I find helpful, but that is all I could get on here.

We're behind you.

Jerry

PS  IM me your address so a couple of friends and I can come by with some sackcloth and ashes and try to "encourage you".   ;;D

God how I know that feeling bro. You're not alone. I have a friend from Church once tell me I was just like Job and I corrected him and said, "Um, he was righteous, I'm not"

Remember you told me if I needed to talk to give you a call? Well, that goes here too. If you ever need to talk, I hardly ever sleep so time is not an issue. You could call at 4am for all I care.

I just hope whatever has you down fades away and you can get on with some hapiness your way.

Peace,
Carl D
