Title: Christmas comes early for the Johnson's Post by Mrs Deej on Dec 10th, 2006, 6:58pm WOW!!! What a year!! Thinking about what a crazy, busy year it has been for us, this is what I came up with... Engaged in Oklahoma City in February, married in Las Vegas in May, a few trips here and there to Kansas City and Fort Forth. Milwaukee in July, down to Chicago. All the way over to Florida, up to Georgia, back down to Orlando...Disney and Shamu visits....out to Stanford, to make sure the noggin was still workin, up to San Fran for a yummy breakfast by the bridge, and back down the coast for a beautiful days drive. All in all, DJ and I have traveled literally coast to coast, totaling over 15,000 miles since January 2006 (that's half way round the world!), We had a wonderfully blessed Thanksgiving with our family. DJ's parents, who have been divorced for 35 years, came to see us as well as his grandfather. DJ and I cooked for 7 hours to have a wonderful meal. My parents as well as Conner were there to eat some Pumpkin Pie. It truly was a great day!! However, not fully understandng how "blessed" of a Thanksgiving it really was. Well, we got our answer on Thursday...... http://www.clusterheadaches.com/pregnant.jpg As if we haven't had the greatest year so far...God topped it off with the best Christmas gift ever...DJ and I are gonna have a baby!!! It has been a very hectic day...doctor's appt, getting poked with a needle...yuck...but all in all...we are expecting our new bundle of joy on August 16th, 2007!!! I guess we will just have to see about making the convention in July...doctor probably won't let me fly, but maybe she'll let us drive!! :-/ Either way...I will keep you all updated on hormonal days, swollen ankles, sonograms, is it boy/girl?, all that good stuff....however, right now....I FEEL GREAT!!!!!!!!! You will all be proud of me...I haven't had a cigarette since...haven't even really thought about it! Thanks for all the warm wishes and all the congratulations!!! "Get all the sleep you can now!!!" Kiss all your Married and Childless friends goodbye now! Most can't endure the competition between a Friend and their Friends new Child!(You'll understand this statement later!) and lastly, Read, read, read and ask people that have kids as many questions as possible now while you still have the chance!
