Despite the fact my massive broadcast program isn't functioning, and I am learning this as I go, a bunch of playlists were lost, etc....I'm pulling it off by the skin of my teeth.

Cioming up at 10pm central time - The Tenth Hour Tribute is to Randy Rhoads, with the music of Ozzy Osbourne and Quiet Riot.

Again, any requests? Lemme know and I'll try and squeeze them in by midnight.

An Hour Long Tribute to guitarist Randy Rhoads with the music of Ozzy Osbourne and Quiet Riot. After that, I'll be winding down the night with some mellower stuff for the last hour...this has been a hectic non stop week between my job and prepping for this.

Jonny, I do play whatever I want, and I do play metal - I just don't play metal ALL the time. I have a wide range of musical taste and can go from Gershwin to Slayer in a heartbeat.

I do have somewhat of a format for "The Soylent Radio Show" and it should go off without a hitch this sunday. The program I was broadcasting with went kerplunkt and I had to learn a different broadcasting method, which kept me from signing on air until just after 4pm. Mark Heinz was broadcasting for me until I got up and running, then he turned the reigns over to me. [smiley=headbanger.gif] [smiley=bigguns.gif] [smiley=sgrin.gif]

The format for the show from now on will be:

Noon - 6pm (central standard time) I will play a wide variety of classic, oldschool and modern rock, new wave, punk, post-punk, alternative, and rockabilly from such bands and artists as Blind Melon, Moody Blues, Rush, P.O.D., Red Hot Chili Peppers, Wolfmother, Depeche Mode, Kiss, Poe, Queen, Nazareth, OK Go!, Jimi Hendrix, My Chemical Romance, The Cure, Motley Crue, The Beatles, Pet Shop Boys, David Bowie, Vigilantes of Love, Rolling Stones, The Who, Talking Heads, Interpol, Supertramp, Beck, Blue Cheer, Nirvana... just whateva! Hell, if I wanna throw in a classic old olde blues tune I might just do that, if I wanna play Madonna backwards to see if she can get her virginity back, I will. [smiley=laugh.gif]

After 6pm, things go to hell in a handbasket quick with heavy metal, thrash, death, punk, Industrial metal techno and hardcore in what I call "The Soylent Radio Sunday Evening Slammer Show" playing stuff like Slayer, Metallica, Anthrax, Skinny Puppy, Clutch, Dog Fashion Disco, Ozzy Osbourne, Disturbed, Slipknot, Hatebreed, Dead Kennedys, Pantera, Megadeth, Queensryche, Marilyn Manson, Nine Inch Nails, Tool, Murderdolls, Testament, King Diamond, Raven, Manowar, Nitro, Nuclear Assault, Blind Guardian, Lamb of God, Avenged Sevenfold, Damageplan, and even some classic 80's metal.

at 10pm I will feature a different artist or band each week for the "Tenth Hour Tribute" which, this past Sunday was a tribute to Randy Rhoads, and next weeks Tenth Hour Tribute will be to the music of Pink Floyd.
Then for the last hour I will play some mellower stuff to wind down with.
