I've seen all our regulars on line today and none of them are near London. None of the OUCH UK lot that i know live in Kensal Rise so the chances of any of us being hurt are minimal (unless of course LeeS was kerb crawling AGAIN  ::) )

We're all okay and I know I'm not the only one who really appreciates your concern  :-*

"You are like a hurricane.
There's calm in your eye.
And I'm gettin' blown away
To somewhere safer where the feeling stays,
I wanna love you but I'm getting blown away."

Thanks for the concern.

Safe and sound here and it has given me the biggest laugh i have had in ages.

My Ex Boss was delivering a kitchen to a house in kensal rise when it hit and i am really happy to announce his brand new 3.5ton van was struck several times by flying objects with 1 going straight through his windscreen  ;;D ;;D
My mate who still works for him rang me as soon as he heard about it and it took him nearly 10 mins to tell me as he couldnt stop laughing. lol

A very happy Dape

Thank you for the concern Mike :D. We is all OK here I think but no trains as the hurricane knocked out the overhead power cables.

Weird to have a hurricane here though. The Uk is REALLY bad at dealing with freak weather. We are used to endless rain but not this!
If it snows here or too many leaves fall in autumn the UK grinds to a halt and the last time we had hurricane level winds in London I was living there  (20 years ago!) and it was like the day after a nuclear holocaust might be. Eerie silence, no transport, shops closed. Very disturbing at the time and also entirely unpredicted by our useless weather forecasters (I think they just stick their heads out of the window and guess)

Your weather is far more extreme than ours in everything but rain but at least you usually know it is coming!
Here it hits and everything falls apart!
