We have had no power since around 1 am Friday morning. Luckily our furnace still heats the house with out power, so at least we are warm. We did break down and buy a generator Friday night as we lose power like this for days and days at least once a year so we have had limited power since Friday night. But our cable is out so I can't get online from home. The beast is acting up right now and my head feels kind of like a cat toy being batted about. That came along with the ice storm... But I thought I'd drop in from work just to tell you all that I miss you, before I went home to the hummmmm of the generator! Hopefully I'll be back online soon! ;)

I'm back! I learned a lot the last few days... like how to disconnect the house at the main and the flip the main breaker and hook up the generator. How to cook by candle light. I missed having power, but it was so peaceful without all of the noise and just the flicker of candles in the evening.

Less noise is great, isn't it? You don't really realize it, until it's not there. Glad you've got power back!
