Today i had to pay thats right $ 12,27 for 1 ONE pack of 20 TWENTY ciggies

any idea what to do beside quit smoking?

For 1 pack of tobacco with 1 pack of paper so that is kind of expencive to

Get your smokes from Russia on the internet, they'll cost about 15 dollars a carton delivered to your door for Marlboro's.

Why not start smoking other things. Grass (not pot), tree bark, carpet fibers, leaves, mulch, .......

I was spending 100 dollars canadian a week on smokes and decided for myself to quit and put that money into a new mtb bike, 15 months today smoke free, but this is my thing. I guess that I wasn't much help, sorry!

It sure sounds expensive but if you put it into perspective - as in what is the average wage there - or the hourly minimum wage. What kind of rent do people pay for say a two bedroom apartment - just an ordinary one - with nothing special added.

People around here can go to the reservations and buy a carton of cigarettes for $32.00 (that's 8 large packs or 200 cigarettes). If you buy them from an ordinary retailer, then it's about $72.00 a carton.

I couldn't afford to get my haircut where you are Svenn - it would just have to grow down to my ankles or something. I pay $15.00 for a haircut here.

I think I'll move to Norway and become a barber. Then order my cigarettes from Switzerland.

I'll probably have to learn more Norwegian than "hallo", "velkommen", and "ha det bra", though, in order to be a Norwegian barber.....

I won't eat any sheep heads, either--guess I have to learn to say "no thanks", too.

Oops - Better idea just occurred to me - move. Move closer to your family. Here. In the US. Smokes are a lot cheaper here. Just stay away from NY City. They're too expensive there. ;;D
