Title: prednisone taper done
Post by barry_sword on Dec 1st, 2006, 6:33pm
1st day without pred. It sure feels a little scary as it stopped my ch in it's tracks. I have a imitrex nasal spray for a abortive and hoping the verapamil will be my preventive. Sorry to any-one if I was "difficult"earlier but was having a time of it with meds. Still pf tonight but it is still early. Thanks every-one because you ALL helped me!

If you haven't been getting regular hits at the low doses of the pred. then you might be off the hook.

Fingers crossed.

Hi Barry,

Glad to hear that you are doing well.  Fingers crossed that the pred and verap kicked in for ya!

But be sure to keep an eye on your blood pressure if you naturally run low.

Good to hear that you're doing better, Barry.

Difficult?  Nah.  I will say that I have an easier time understanding what you're saying now....   ;)

Best wishes,

George

Jonny was talking about Red Bull and the like, not Gatorade.  I believe it is taurine (am I correct people?) that COULD cause a problem with verapomil.

Good luck and PF days!
