Had my knee operated on about 12 weeks ago to repair a couple of torn areas. Went through rehab and was cleared to get back on the ice and referee Hockey games. I've done about 15 without an issue, at least until last night.

Standing in front of the next pulling the puck out of the goalies glove to do a face off, turned to skate to the faceoff circle and it felt like someone jabbed a knife in my knee. I definately tore something again.

Shit!!!! There goes the season!

Under the knife again.

It sucks getting old!!! I refuse to surrender however.

Talked with the surgeon who did the work last time. He said he can X-ray, MRI and then see where to go from there. I said, let's save my insurance company several thousand dollars by skipping the tests and go straight in and fix it. He's concidering that.

Sometimes they have to go in several times to do it right. Sometimes you (and me) manage to break it again ourselves.

I've always liked Tonsil Hockey, but that might be a little difficult over IP. Gets the screen all wet as well.
