Title: Rude people are every where! Post by LadyElaine1 on Nov 26th, 2006, 11:33am I went just before the race in March to have my hair trimed. The lady that always cuts my hair must have been smoking weed or something. Her meaning of trim and mine wasn't the same. She cut my hair real short in the back, so short she had to shave my neck and left the front long. It looked like I had two hair dos one in back and one in front. I hated it. I had to go some where else and get them to try and fix it. They did the best they could and I now have short hair that I hate. After being bald I don't complain. I went to the race with my husband and his friends, every time I turned around, somone would say some rude comment about my hair. "Why did ya cut your hair so short it looked so much better long?" "Oh my God what happen to your hair?: I was gald to come home and lock myself inside where no one could see me. Its been a few months now and my hair has grown out a little. We went out to eat yesterday and a friend of ours is a waittress where we went. I walked in she hugged my neck and shook her head and said 'what happen to your hair? You have to tell me where you went to get your hair done so I don't go!" Ok I know my hair is bad, but why do people have to make a big deal out of it ! I would never think of saying someones hair or clothing looked bad. Whats with all the rude people these days? Locking my self in the house agin till it grows out more :'( |

It makes our hearts hurt to hear those words. He knows it and he will call here and every other word is GD this and GD that. We have asked him not to but he keeps on. I have gotten rude and I hang up every time he uses that word. What is it with people is it me or them. I repect others not to do things they don't like. When we are at his house I don't tell him not to say those words, but when you call me and are in my home I don't feel I have to listen to it. |

Goodwill towards men has been relagated to Hallmark cards & you're going to find crabby people everywhere now, especially while driving. Elaine, I have seen you when you lost your hair, with a wig on, with short and long.hair..YOU ARE NOT YOUR HAIR and you are beautiful. With the brains here we shoudl be able to get some come-backs for you to use when someone makes a rude remark like that. Like when someone said what have you done to your hair, I liked it better long..you could come back with, "I liked it better when you were about 50 pounds thinner too. |

My husband did speak up for me and said he liked my hair, it no longe got in his way when he kissed me. I thought that was sweet. I gave him 5 points and a big hug for that one. ;;D Its funny I can't be rude when people are rude to me, but I can get rude when people are rude to my family or friends. Thanks all you have made me smile. I will be much better in three months when my hair grows out again. I may never have it cut again! |

I had similar experiences when I got my hair cut b4 I got married on the road(yup hubby and I went ona road trip and got married along the way) so I asked the hairdresser to give me an easy managable haircut....well long story short I looked like a butch...atleast according to everyone that saw my newdo...it sucks but it will grow out and don't let ppl's meanness make you want to lock yourself in your room....I went halfway across the country looking like a "butch" and got married that way too. |
