Maple-glazed Turkey with Sage Butter. With bacon on top, can you go wrong?

I have leftovers! I ended up making all of that bird for Travis and myself and two little boys under the age of four. Those two would rather eat mashed potatoes and pumpkin pie than anything else. Normally, I wouldn't have tried something so different on a holiday, but I was just cooking for us, so I took a chance. And it was a good chance! I have a feeling that my Dad will want me to make it for Christmas. If that is the case, you can come and have some in Arizona and enjoy the weather too!

Im usually in Mesa every January, but I can make it whenever you say.....LOL ;;D

Thanks Chewy! I think if you could have tasted the gravy, you would have been groveling at my feet! That is where the maple syrup glaze really came in to play.

Oh and I don't think they don't make that at the the Stop and Shop...

Ok Jonny, week of Christmas, town of Kearny, little over an hour from Mesa. You are more than welcome to come and have some turkey with us! I am not in the mood for a white Christmas this year or one surrounded by my in-laws, so we are headed to my parents house this year. First Christmas with my family in 10 years, so I can't wait!
