Title: Happy Turducken Day...
Post by taraann on Nov 23rd, 2006, 1:02pm
Yup going to sis in laws for a "traditional" turducken..... I'm all for trying new things but I'm a bit nervous about being polite and not likeing the duck part.....I'll choke it down even if I don't like it but I'm sure I'll prefer the tradional turkey of years past [smiley=laugh.gif]

Have a great filling, fattening day all!!! :-* :-*

Just Nancy, Terry and myself today...So a whole turkey no matter how small is just too damn much.

Roasted whole boneless Trukey breast (5 lbs.), Wild rice/portabella 'shroom dressing and mashed taters and gravy, sweet dumpling squash, steamed fresh broccoli. Cranberry walnut bread and "dump cake".

OMG The Turducken was EXCELLENT!  I think I ate enough for 3 grown men.

Redd your dinner sounds awfully good.  I love broccolli and that is one thing that was missing at todays dinner.  OOh and mushrooms.  Yum sounds delicious.

Ooh now that I've had duck and liked it...it does sound wonderful with orange flavorings.

Hope everyone is stuffed full and happy!  I had a really nice day myself.
