I'm going to see a dermatologist about my skin.

I'm off to see her in few hours and to be honest, I try not to think about it. I've learned and read too much about the topic, I suppose.

But because it's Thanksgiving for many of you today, I hope that it's a good sign for me. And it's good that finally I'll know if I have something to worry about. Wish me luck!

I've been to a dermatologist before, it's not bad. You have nothing to worry about! Let us know how everything goes though! Good luck....

Oh yes. I just got back home. :)

The doctor was very nice woman. She carefully examined the spots and it turned out that they are different kind - but both are harmless! Thank God for that. :)

The doctor said that it was good that I came to check them, as my skin type is very delicate and I'm in the risk of skin cancer. She recommeded that I will use the higest possible sun lotion I can find. And that I must be prepared that I'll get plenty of odd spots as I get older.

I had felt easier about this all today, but I could feel the relief as I left the doctor's office. And, naturally, I got hit few minutes after that, but it's okay. It was the first ch of the day.

I know that back here we don't celebrate Thanksgiving, but I'm having one now! ;;D

Thank you all for your wishes and prayers. :) I'm going to say few more "thank you"- prayers after I finish typing this.

This was a huge relief. :)

When I called mum and told her the good news, she admitted that she had been worried about me a lot and even had had nightmares about it.

Luckily, nothing to worry about right now. :)

Thank you for the good news Sanna. Sorry about the hit though.
My 23 yr old step-daughter has melanoma-has been through surgery and 6 months of chemo-we're waiting and praying on the the results of her scan-was done last week. Should know Monday. Its rough. My husband is having to deal with helplessly watching me get hit and now his daughter having cancer. Could use some prayers.
