I hear people tell me they are board, what I would give to be board.
My little dog peanut he been sick all week end. Buddy is taking him to the vet today. A vet bill is just not what we need right now.
Now my children are coming here for Thanksgiving. I will be cooking. Going out to eat was a good dream. With our dog being sick I couldn't leave her so everyone is coming here.
Turkey, Cornbread dressing, collards and blackeye, yams, potato salad, macroni salad, Punkin pie, cherry cheese pie, red velvet cake.

If you would say a Prayer for my little dog.

How about getting the dinner catered? Lots of grocery stores will sell you a hot meal that you pick up in the morning. It would probably cost the same as the dinner out. This way you'll still get a little break...

Peanut has Bacteria from some bad teeth that has built up in her spine. They gave her a shot said keep her calm and rested for two weeks. Then we take her back and have her teeth pulled. The vet bill I could do without, but to get her well I don't mind.

Thanksgiving will be easy really. I just found out my other daughter will be here too. I am cooking the Turkey, and the collards and blackeyes and fixing the pies and potato salad and making the dressing the day before Thanksgiving. All I will have to do is warm everything up and cook the dressing and yams and corn on the cob Thanksgiving day. That won't take but a hour and half so I can enjoy Thanksgiving to instead of cooking all night.
I got it all figured out. I am really excited about everyone coming here.

It will be a fun day ! I am blessed and have so much to be thankfull for. :)

Prayers for you and little peanut....poor guy! At least you've got your kids around to take your mind off things...Good luck! :)

I'm glad your dog is doing better Lady E. I do wish though you hadn't put in your menu! Since I moved back up into Yankee country I havn't had but one good mess of collards! I think I could make a meal of them themselves! ;;D

Sorry to hear this E. Damn! Vet bills are out of hand.

I do wonder about the extractions. You might be able to postpone something like that......maybe?
