Well, finally got off my lazy a$$ and took the camera for a ride. Here are a few. I'm backlogged on photoshopping, so there will be more to come.

These were taken at what we call the *beanfield*, part of the wildlife refuge.

Naturally, it started raining, so I sat in my car and took this one through the windshield.

These were taken at D'Arbonne Bayou on the D'Arbonne National Wildlife Refuge.

I loved the second one, I'd love to go walking down there... I'm coming with you one day Carolyn!
#3 reminded me of Africa somehow, maybe the grass or the colours but it was beautiful. I don't like flippin snakes so no comment on that one!
I love the changes in colour from the dramatic clouds to the almost copper grass in #1 and I have to ask what was that white thing in number4?!! I think it looks beautifl where it's almost opaque. I instantly thought of that James Herbert book "Moon" although I know it isn't the moon really!

Yup, that's what it is! He was only about 6 inches long and much more worried about getting away and hiding in the leaves than worrying aobut what I was going to do (of course, from that point on, I tended to walk on clear paths instead of the grass or leaves).

That is a mushroom (although not a magic one)! I can read this and photoshop too!

Still processing pictures this morning before I go to work, but I do have a few more to add.

I love the fal colour pics Carolyn, I'd have every wall in my house covered with you'rs and Vigs pics given the chance.
Your cat pics are amazing, how long did you wait for the yawning one, tha'ts incredible! I love the two cats posing together too, now those took incredible patience as I know from trying to photograph Kitler and Pussolini together!

Actually, the yawning one was by accident, I just happened to snap the picture when he yawned. They were both asleep on the box when I came in. Lucky for me, they didn't move before I could get the camera out of the car.
