Title: Not the C word... Post by Ree on Nov 8th, 2006, 5:48pm I got a diagnosis... and its not Cancer. I have H. Pylori which is an infection that causes ulcers. So the damage is an ulcer associated to the HPylori and gastritis. Who knows how or when I got it... all I know is I haven't had a voice since my Mom died last Nov 11th and then some before that. I thought it was stress... I am so glad to hear I don't have Cancer but I'm not out of the woods because the therapy to rid myself of this is a rigorous bunch of drugs that will probably make me feel yukky...I am very fortunate because if the therapy works I can be rid of the reflux, ulcer and hopefully for good.......then I can sing in the shower again... I just wanted to say hi and I probably won't be around for a while. Just know every day the sun comes up for me I pray for you. Scott is back in Iraq and a Kiowa went down on Monday killing the 2 pilots.... He is flying one of 8 (now one of 7) in country so we were really scared... but I didnt panic this time... you would be proud of me. I love you all Ree |

Anyway, better than chemo OR radiation and whatever else treatment people go though... Turtle kisses all around FOR EVERYONE IN THE ROOM!
