I too may not agree with the way the election turned out but, I say and always will say the people have spoken and if some wanted it the other way they should have voted with the rest of us.

Congrats to all the winners and serve well!

Kumbymotherf*ckin'yah. Thank God I had three independants to choose from on my ballot. But I never want to hear another Dem say that conservatives are anti-gay. We elected 95% democrats in my area, but still passed a gay marriage ban, which I voted against. ;;D Just looking forward to two years of nothing getting done on the federal gov't level, I can save some money that way. ;) Glad to see so many Americans think government holds all the answers and are eager to let people who can't make it in the real world control their lives. YAY! America. We lack three things in this country in our elected officials, Courage, Character and Intelligence, and they have been taking those three things away from the citizens for generations now. Lacking those things and not fighting to keep them has put us in the position we are in now. Men of character used to lead this nation, now crooks and liars are the norm. Congratulations lilly livered conformists! Here's a toast to the wonderful, feel-good bipartisanship we will have under the lovely, open-minded, accepting Democratic party lead by the classy Nancy Pilosi. Mabe her and ol George can have some fun in the oval office, perhaps he will extend the olive branch to her. ;)

Sorry for the rant, but you can dig the truth out if you know what to look for.

Thomas Outside of gay marriage I must say I agree with you. There is more honor in the Mafia than the government and I think America is in a lot of trouble :'(

Again, you bet. It surely isn't George Bush's hand-picked crowd unbeliveable incompetants, hypocritical corporate criminals and oilmen in chief that are showing us us the way. Characters they are.

while I am not displeased by the results, I don't know that the congrats go to me - maybe the voters as a whole.

Thomas - was able to pull out some things there, and agree with some of those. I'm hoping that having a mixed government will lead to more accountability, which, in my opinion is why there was a reversal in this election.

We are happier and the country is healthier with a divided government. Those guys that built this place knew their stuff.
