....on the fall cycle. They would have shown up by now--mid to late October for the onset.

Mine have always been like a clock--spring and fall for twenty years, once a year for ten, and now three years in between for the last three cycles. Looks like the trend is continuing. Judging by past experience, the next time to watch for them is Spring, 2007--mid to late May.

Of course there are no guarantees, but I'll go with what's happened in the past as an indication. With luck, and if the three-year pattern continues, I shouldn't get hit until mid to late May, 2009. Maybe not even then. We'll see.

If and when it happens, I'll do a diary thread here on how an unmedicated, untreated episodic cycle proceeds. Perhaps it will be of some value to someone.

Guess talking about them does no harm, and doesn't "curse" me. I don't think the beast can read.

Good on you, bro. Did you do anything different this year? And, by the way, you cannot curse yourself by stating that you are pain free. That is just silly and totally wrong. But George, don't forget the handful of salt over your right (or is it left) shoulder.

Thanks, Kathy and Pegg. No, I didn't do anything differently this year.

No, I realize that talking about CH doesn't "curse" me, but I've seen others here who are concerned that it might, in some fashion. I agree that it's silly. Saying that about cursiing myself is just an attempt at humor and a way of defying the beast.

I truly appreciate it. And yes--if and when a day ever comes when I can say that CH is truly in my past, I'll never forget....and I'll be here for any and all of you in any way that I can.
