Help folks!

Has something changed? Starting about a month ago I am experiencing the following sporadic problems on site:

Sometimes cannot log on.

Frequently cannot open some threads.

Frequently cannot reply on some threads.

Cannot PM sometimes.

Have been told by another that I cannot be PM'd sometimes.

Neither search function works (that could be me).

Most actions very slow.

Not notified of replies to threads I'm following (posting in) most times.

Most frequent error msg is "502 connection failed" Web site not responding". Other times NOTHING happens.

I'm not on any other boards so don't know if it is specific to boards. No such problems on other websites.

Using Netscape dial up which is excruciatingly slow but I have no other option. Same service I have been using since 9/05 with no such problems before.

Have Dell Dimension 4600 running Win XP (most recent version), IE 6.

Using Adaware, Spybot, Win Defender and McAfee AntiVirus software. All are updated and frequently run.

Any advice appreciated. I come here to relieve the frustration of CH and participate. REALLY don't need this.

I think there is a totally different thread for board logging or whatever problems. Not surebut I think so.

Yup, been there, done that, Oct 7. No replies to date.
Didn't want to post on general board but figured, what else could I do?
