Title: landmark painting
Post by Charlotte on Nov 1st, 2006, 10:37pm
I joined a challenge to post a painting of a local landmark every 2 weeks for a year.

I did this this afternoon, of las palmas avenue between the Stanislaus River and Patterson.

Charlotte that is beautiful, I love the delicacy of watercolour, it seems to capture moods and moments in an ethereal way that you can only see if you don't really look at it. Sort of like bluebells. The more you look at them the less you can see the blue, you have to let it come to you.
I love seeing your paintings  :)

And I am certainly not one of them. My grandmother was an acomplished artist. Those genes died with her.  Very cool painting.  Dick
