Title: Question / Andrew Sewell
Post by Dissident on Oct 29th, 2006, 8:58am
Leah got a phone call the other day while I was at work. The person never identified who they were but said he wanted to speak with me about a medical condition. Leah asked him if it was about CH and he said yes. He told Leah that I have his email address and to contact him.
The only person that I can think of is Andrew Sewell. Does anyone around here have an Andrews email address? I'd like to email him and find out what he wants/needs from me. Thanks guys.

BJ

If Dr Sewell tried to contact you, I would think he would leave his name. And why would anyone on the phone discuss your medical condition with someone who said it was your wife (how do they know?) and why would your wife discuss your medical condition with a total stranger on the phone?  That's confidential info, and any Dr. would be going against the HIPPA act discussing it with anyone but you. Unless they had signed consent from you, but it doesn't sound that way. Otherwise, they'd have ID'd themselves.

Be careful out there...when my doc (s) offices call, they don't say why, they just leave a message for me to call, with phone #. They will only talk to me, no matter what my husband says to them.

Good luck.

Purpleydog,
He didn't/wouldn't discuss my medical condition or what he really wanted. He only said "yes" when Leah asked if it was about CH. That's as far as the conversation went.
That's why I wanted his email address so I can ask if it was him and what he needs. I'm not concerned even if it wasn't him...it's not like I'm secretive about my condition. I post info about my condition here and this is a public forum!
Thanks for the heads-up though!

Did he have a slight British accent?
