Title: Re: What's with the Red Bull? Post by Carl_D on Oct 23rd, 2006, 10:47pm If you take Verapamil... avoid Red Bull. Taurine interacts with Verapamil and can exaggerate the levels in your system causing severe heart palpitations and possibly a heart attack. Be careful. Carl D |

Title: Re: What's with the Red Bull? Post by leftsideonly on Oct 23rd, 2006, 11:46pm I have just recenly tried the Red Bull thing and it seems to work very well. As soon as I notice the eye drooping or the scalp tightening I chug a Red Bull and the beast seems to wither away. Its worth a try- -not as expensive as the meds. PF wishes Andre |

Title: Re: What's with the Red Bull? Post by Turts on Oct 24th, 2006, 12:34am i have tried and had success with red bull, however i am cautious now with Carl D s comments. may keep it in the back of my mind and use it only in an emergency if caughht without O2 or imagran nasal spray. i dont think i could go to the doc and say; can you taper me of verapamil, as i am going to start taking red bull from now on." hell think i found some mushies and ate to many.
