Tom K and his lovely wife are at the hospital and the twins are on the way!!  At the last sonogram appointment the twins were estimated to weight at over 7lbs EACH!  Her water broke this morning and Tom had a chance to check in on his way BACK to the house to pick up some things he forgot in the rush to get to the hosptial.

As soon as I here from Tom that his precious cargo has arrived I will post all the details!!


I guess all that is left to say for now is ...

BREATHE AND PUSH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The babies are here and Mom and babies are all healthy!!!

Baby Boy (Name yet to be determined) arrived at 1:43pm and weighed 5lbs 14oz and was 18 1/2 inches long.

Sarah Elizabeth arrived at 1:45pm she weighed 6lbs 15oz and was 19 1/2 inches long.

Susan delivered both babies by C section and there are no complications.


Congratulations to Tom and Susan and the new additions to their family!!

Congradulations on the birth of twins!  May I say, the organization mothers for multiples is a wonderful resource.  My twins are almost 21 now.  Here is a link to the national center http://www.nomotc.org/.  Local chapters have clothing exchanges where you can get twin clothing for low cost.  It is nice stuff to.  Give your wife a big extra hug.  Carring twins is hard work.

Wow!  Congratulations!  That's fantastic news.  The boys were 5.3 and 7.3, but they were born three hours apart.  Mom barely got to see the second one before she passed out. :)
I remember that momeent like it was yesterday, and they are off to college now.  Love and cherish every moment.

Thanks, Everyone!  It has been a long and crazy day.  I will have pix up tomorrow night, took some today but didn't bring the camera home to upload.  We had a minor complication with Sarah, but everything worked it's way out and she is with her brother in the General Nursery.  I'm going to pass out and and will update more tomorrow.

Quick update.  Both are fully named, I lost the naming rights some where along the line, but I don't remember the negotiations(sp)!  And before you all ask, photos will be up tomorrow.  It's late and I only uploaded them, didn't even look over them.

Ok, the boy is named Matthew Graham.  I wanted the Scottish spelling of Graham, which is Graeme, but lost that one, too.  Will start a new thread with photo links and all that good stuff.
