Those of you who know about my Orlando trip this summer know how special it was to me to be able to have Stephanie and Conner there with me.

It was our first "family vacation" and my first vacation as a husband and a father.  It was the first trip to Disney World for all of us... something I've always dreamed of doing with my wife and kids.  Needless to say, it was a very magical trip for me (pun intended).  Standing in front of the castle, watching the fireworks with Stephanie standing next to me and Conner on my shoulders was a very special, emotional, and memorable moment.

I sent some of the pictures we took of the fireworks that night to my little brother who drew an incredible tattoo stencil of it for me, capturing the moment perfectly!

I wanted to share how that special moment in my life is now permanently etched on my body to always remember...

P.S. You may notice it incorporates the same Tinker Bell and pixie dust Stephanie drew for her tattoo!

Wow DJ, that is absolutely awesome and incredible!!!

How heart warming it is to know you've finally found and are living and enjoying what you've always sought.

What a world it would be if everyone could find the love that you and Steph and Connor have.  It's wonderful to see the twinkle in your eyes and the smile on your face and in your heart.

Aww, DJ, you are such a mush!! It's quite appealing, you know!!  

As for vacations, well, I guess I missed the mark. I bring back silly things like sand, pics and recipes- you REALLY know how to do souvenirs right!!!!!!!!!

It warms the heart to see good people being rewarded in life with true love and happiness the way they deserve it.

What can I say?!  As Dennis (the artist) was drawing this I actually got tears in my eyes.  Remembering the moment...was priceless, and will forever be in my mind, heart and soul.  

When we were down in Orlando for the Moyamoya Convention, once again, I was humbled by the experience.  Meeting people that think they owe their lives to DJ...what do you say to that?

I have something in my life that is a once in a lifetime thing...and I wish everyone in this world half the happiness I feel everyday.  I never thought I would be as happy as I am, never thinking I deserved the happiness that I have.  It just gets better and better, everyday!

Never did I think I would be surrounded by family like y'all.  This I owe to my husband.  Being here was because of him, supporting him (no matter if he still suffers or not), supporting and loving each and everyone of you...that makes my heart happy and full!!    

To DJ:  Thank you for loving me and Conner the way you do.  You are my angel of hope.  Waking up each morning to you is the greatest gift anyone could ever give me.  Our experience, the happiness in your eyes as we stood there together, as a family, was the best moment of my life.  The tears rolling down my face should have said it all.

You inspire me to be a better person!  I love you!

First two hours wasn't bad... third hour started to hurt... fourth hour HURT LIKE A SONOFABITCH!

There wouldn't have been a fifth hour.  I couldn't have taken any more in one sitting!
