Oct 20, 2006 12:20 am Kyasia Caldwell came into this world at 7 lbs 4 oz and 21 inches long. We are all so thrilled. She is a darling thing and my first grandchild. Unfortunately for me my head is still wonky but I am still overjoyed. Will post pics. She looks like my son when he was a newborn.

Congratulations Ricky et al! That's lovely news - about the baby I mean, not your poor noggin. Wish I could help with that bit for you ((HUG))
How do you pronounce her name? It looks beautiful but I wouldn't know how to say it - what does it mean?

From a Grandma of 10 - there's just nothing finer than being a Grandmother.  

Congrats!  Love her name.

Hope maybe having a new little one to hold and to love will help to keep the beast at bay for you.

Ricky congratulation, I remember how I felt when my first Grandson was born, its a wonderful feeling, enjoy the gift of this child and I wish for you to have PFDN in order to do so,  best wishes to the proud parent too

Her name is pronunced Ki (long I)  then Asia like the continent. My daughter in law gave her the name and it has no meaning as far as I know.

There's just nothing like it. I still remember Caleb's first cry - it just did something to my heart and it's still there.

You love your kids above everything, but grandkids are just  - well -- grand!
