The voting process for the OUCH BOD is now open. The Voting Booth will remain open until midnight (Eastern Time), October 28, 2006. Votes will be tallied and verified October 29 - 31 and the results announced October 31, 2006.

For anyone who may need assistance accessing the OUCH Business Board, an Election Supplement has been created and can be downloaded here:

I'm still just getting the candidates statements when I click on the First thingy on the Business Board that says Candidates and elections.

So what do I do now???

Directly above the Candidate's Q&A board there is an area entitled " 2006 Board of Directors Election". Click to enter that area. Then click "2006 Board of Directors Election Voting Booth"....then click on " Poll: VOTE HERE: 2006 Board of Directors Election" and cast your vote(s).

Who counts the votes?

I was present for a BOD election for a 501(c)3 yesterday that required a disinterested third party presence.

To watch votes counted? I could look disinterested.

My resume does have one or two nose-picking incidents, the butt-scratching is an aspect I'm working on now, but I think the shrugs and yawns speak for themselves.

26 years of previous experience listening to g/f talk on phone while making lunch and getting back between sandwiches for the expertly timed uh-huhs, once completing a full lawn mowing during a particular heart-to heart.

It is my understanding that voting progam used counts the vote totals and provides results after the voting period. The program automatically records the time, date, name and IP Address of each voter. This log is reviewed for any discrepancy. The vote is then released as official.
