Well as you all know I am towards the end of my cycle when big shit starts happening and it did. As you all saw in Kevins thread help I had it real bad last night. My ch hits are low level but the migraines it spawns are horrible and complicated. Again last night besides headache at a high level I had slurred speech, confusion, loss of balance etc the usual shit for me. I called my neuro and he knows about the seeds and said I could start DHE again today. So I took my first injection of 1 mg and am functionable at present but still have pain but nothing like last night. I can walk did some cooking and rested today.

So it seems like busting did make my cycle with ch more controllable but did nothing for the migraines. As I am typing this I am seeing little starlights in front of my eyes. Again don't worry this is all too common for me and my neuro is on it. I hope to go to work tomorrow. At least so far no Prednisone. I was worse last year when I had to get hospitalized believe it or not.

Thanks for ya'lls concerns. I am not out of the woods yet but coming to the end.

At least your docs works with you. Love and Light you way Ricky. Normal does not mean that it is ok.

Hey, Ricky - I'm curious, are you doing the DHE injections yourself? Are they intravenous or subcutaneous? If I ever have to do them again in the future I'd love to be able to talk my doc into considering doing it on an outpatient basis.

That always ended my cycle when I was episodic, but only at the end. Never did work on the front (and yes, I tried it). When I couldn't put one foot in front of the other, I'd go with the DHE.

Hope this helps you - the migraines will get to you also. I've had one the last few days and it's about to eat my lunch.

Yes DHE only works at the end of the cycle to break it with me also. I do self injections with an insuline needle. My neuro taught me how to do it. I always do them under strict guidance. I have had it IV also in hospital and ER many times and along with solu medrol IV sigh..............Right now I just had a small hit stabs in my head. This cycle it is 5:30 am till 10:00 and 6:00 till 8:00 pm like clockwork. Right now my head is very sore but I have my balance and speech back. But OUCH.........
