Title: Me still thinks....... Post by DonnaHar on Oct 18th, 2006, 12:12pm that a simple testosterone level check would reveal a lot about who has clusters and who doesn't. Been suggesting this since I got here in 1999.......but NOOOO! Its' regulated by the hypothalamus.......too much or too little causes excruciating headaches, etc. When I went on hormone therapy, I could only take the estrogen alone.....the progesterone threw me into cycle. But that's just the tip of my theory story. When is someone gonna listen to grandma? |

Title: Re: Me still thinks....... Post by Margi on Oct 18th, 2006, 12:20pm :-* I'm listening to ya, Gramma!! As a Gramma myself, I know that we grammas DO have some good info! ;) This could also explain why female clusterheads usually find remission while pregnant, the hormone surge. Let's inject all the boys with estrogen and see what happens!! Let's start with Don... (I am taking you seriously, Donna - just couldn't resist taking a shot at old ChewToy). Edited because I am we todd did. ;) |

Title: Re: Me still thinks....... Post by aubmari on Oct 18th, 2006, 12:47pm I can see the logic ....... one thing I wanted to say is that I may be the exception but had my second cycle when I was 5 months pregnant. Still during this time your hormones start to level out a little more but there is still change in that. My sister got her first hit shortly after giving birth to her second child ( about 3 months). I think that it is related somehow. I am a believer too. Aubmari |
