We got ours last week. Was very cold, windy and snowy. Didn't stick around long when the weather changed again on Saturday.

No snow yet here to the south and west of you. (Southwestern Idaho) .

Some up in the mountains, though.

We got a little bit last week. Just flurries that melted almost on contact. I feel so bad for Buffallo and the area around it that got to much snow.

the roads aren't covered yet but all of the yards, trees and roofs are for right now. Probably an inch or so so far.

I'm about 4 hours north of you and our white crap started yesterday. Not much accumulation yet, not sticking to the roads, just a dusting on the grass. Just enough to make your car dirty. This first snow also makes most Calgary drivers completely forget all their winter driving skills. ::)

I agree! I can never figure out why everyone suddenly forgets how to drive once the first snow hits. ;;D

Helen, if you want real snow, I'd be glad to send you some. Hell, give me a few months here and I'll send you a damn snowman!! ;)

You just have to be careful not to....um....heat them up too much. I know you Brits like mushy peas but, I don't think that adjective is good for all things.

Snowballs on the other hand should be firm and cool to the touch, not melting until they reach your mouth ;;D

After 4 inches of rain yesterday, it's sunny and the high today is supposed to be in the upper 80s or low 90s. What is snow?

Wow. The first snow of the year is always nice. :)

I just watched the wheather forecast and it's getting colder in here. They predicted that there will be snow at the end of the week. Let's just see what happends. I must admit that I'm not that fond of cold days, but I just love the first snow! ;;D

We had only a flake or two earlier this week. To our north about 70 miles, Buffalo had more than two feet in some areas. The results are worse than you see on cable news and the weather channel. Even deadly.

Ours will come and I hate to say it but I like it. It may be because it can be a bit of an equalizer for non drivers.

i got excited for awhile, we had a low pressure system come through and the temps been in the low 80's. No snowplows yet.
