I am so sorry that your daughter and her child, and you, as well ,have to go through this. My stepfather committed suicide years ago by shooting himself, although he did it alone, away so that my mother did not see the actual deed. It was so hard for Mom because she could not understand why, and had guilt feelings that she was the cause of it. At least she was spared having to see it happen. My prayers are with your daughter, and her son. She may feel some guilt and will most likely need counseling since she witnessed it. My Mother needed counseling, which helped her tremendously. Please help your daughter to find that counseling, and let her know that when someone commits suicide that there may not be complete answers as to why, but to know that the only fault lies with the person who killed himself. There are other choices. Stay strong Mom, your daughter needs you now, and we're all here to back you up and help you in any way we can. Sandy |

It was my daughter Tiffany the one who lost her husband in Iraq and lost her child. I am ok, I am mad right now. The man just got out of jail. To me he was no good. He knew what my daughter and grandchild has been though and to do this to them makes me very angery. If I posted my feelings about him right now it would be unwanted here. Thanks for the prayers, I need it to control my anger toward this man and my daughter and grandchild need it to be able to deal! |

Post by LadyElaine1 on Oct 11th, 2006, 5:00pm Thanks everyone, my daughter and grandchild are doing well, my daughter is like me, mad right now. The police did let her go back in the house today and clean it up and they are back home tonight. This we know he had it planned. He got out of Jail Monday, went to some friends house got him some drugs and took them yeasterday, somehow he got a gun no one knows how. The police said he had tracks on his arms. He was in a work camp and was able to get drugs it looks like. He called his mother and everyone in his family. Talked to them on a upbeat, never gave them any indication that anything was wrong. He told my daughter that he had taken some drugs, she got mad and he wanted to talk. She had told him he had to stop the drugs to live there. He asked her if he could talk to her, she said no that she did not want to see him right then. He went in the bedroom called his brother talked to him. I called about 10 minutes before he shot himself asked to speak to my daughter he said she is buzy and that he was on the other line with his brother, he hung up. My daughter and her baby were in the living room listening to music. My daughter said they had a apointment with his probation officer and she thought maybe he had fallen to sleep and went to wake him. She found him, checked his pulse, then she had to get his cell out of his pocket to call 911, thats the only phone they had. He was pronounced DOA. He used a 9 MM . His family his Mother and Brothers will be making all the arrangements, since they were not married. They are picking up his belongings today. Thats about all I know. Its something sad for all involved. My daughter is left with lots of guilt, anger, and of course the question why? My granddaughter only knows someone else she cared about went to Heaven, the most a five year old can understand. His Mother and brothers they will forever ask why? He solved his problem but made so many more problems for everyone else left behind. |
