Me, I'll be sittin in a tree again hoping for a critter to walk by. Barb and the little guy will be with me, so I know something will be cooking on the stove when I get back to the cabin after a long, cold evening of hunting.

1. Hunt
2. Have a beer
3. Eat dinner
4. Take shower
5. Put the little guy to bed
6. Chase Barb around, hopefully she will let me catch her! ;)

I have to take a bouquet of balloons to where Jesse works and put them in his car for a guy he works with (it's his parents 50th anniversary party tomorrow), then I have to drop off a diaper cake at my aunt's for my cousins baby shower that's tomorrow, I'll be going to Madison tomorrow to see my dad and get my mom's recipe box that I've wanted ever since she died.  Also it seems he will be getting remarried in the next couple months, so I'm sure I'll hear a bunch of crap about that.  Whatever.

Sunday I'll probably blow a gasket or two watching the Packer game on TV. ::)

I'm also looking forward to see if I get any phone calls next week for my diaper cakes as I have an ad coming out on Sunday.  I'm all set to go!

CHit, almost forgot, I am also doing our grocery shopping this morning and gathering together things for a gift box to send for a friend. 8)

Hopefully you'll find some "Mel time" somewhere in that busy schedule.

The bad thing is we have to head home a little earlier because the Pack is in Lambeau, and we want to beat the traffic.

Probably not going to do much except hang around the house and work on small projects here and there.  Will fix Sunday morning breakfast for the family--bacon, home fries, and fresh eggs from Ellen's chickens.  Her hens produce about a dozen eggs a week for us.  She also has a pair of unintended roosters, a Wyandotte and a Rhode Island Red who are useless but very decorative and vain.

Will also be going to see a presentation by Jonathon Kozol, the education advocate and National Book Award winner over at the university.  He's going to be talking about federal intervention in public education.

Begin by watching the local rival high school football teams battle it out.  Don't know anyone on either team, it's just fun to watch a high school game.

Watch my son referee four hockey games.

Clean the fish pond -- I hate that damn thing, nice to look at but a pain in the ass to maintain.

Watch the Chief's play - alcohol will be involved

Treating the kids to dinner tonite.
Taking Crystal to a birthday party tomorrow, then taking my nephew to the GoKarts.
Cleaning the house.
Concert - James Taylor on Sunday.
Bronx Zoo on Monday.
Hopefully stay in bed with hubby all day Tuesday... ;)

1.  starting the preparations for our kitchen renovation.  Picking cabinets and colours tomorrow.

2.  packing up cupboards to prepare for demolition.

3.  bottling my latest batch of wine.

4.  Turkey Day in Canada on Monday, so we've got the family coming for dinner (could be interesting with a semi-demolished kitchen but...Mike's a contractor, our family is used to dodging plywood and air nailers at family dinners! :))  

Busy weekend ahead - love it!  :)

mmmmhmmm :)  My latest batch is a Pinot Grigio and it's turned out quite nicely.  Very clear and light.  I....uh....had to sample a bottle of it this week.  You know, to make sure it's not poisonous or anything. ;)  I'm happy to report - it's NOT!!

However, I'd be happy to trade you a bottle of wine for a James Taylor ticket......  deal?

This weekend is the "X Factor" race for my fav driver, #6 - Mark Martin @ Talladega SuperSpeedway! Even though he has the track record @ Dega, he doesn't usually do very well there. Seems like he always gets caught up in "The Big One"  ::)   He's currently 3rd in points and needs to do well @ Dega if he wants to have a chance @ the championship. It's time for him to win one!!

 OK, I hate to do this but since Zwibby isn't around I must warn you,   Watching the race & BBQ' in w/ some friends   it is generally considered safer to leave the BBQ outside even though there is a NasCar race on. ;;D

 Linda and I fly to Vegas tomorrow for a visit with her Mom, but on Sunday I will most definitely be at the sports book at Caesars Palace to watch Pro games! I will also put $10.00 down on your guy (Martin) to win since they have him at 30 to 1 against. My guy (Johnson) is being shown as the favorite.

 We will be gone from computer land until Wed night so everyone have a safe and PF weekend!

The church has hired me to turn their image around, I will now be hearing confessions. They were nice enough to put a laptop and a fridge full of beer in the booth ;;D

Now THIS race is the wild card.......it will either be the best race there since they slapped plates on the Cup cars or they won't have enough wreckers and shovels to clear the track. Interesting to be sure.

Another interesting event will be Juan Pablo Montoya's ARCA debut. Can a man used to driving real race cars make it in a taxi cab?  ;;D

He drove 'em.. doesn't mean he drove 'em well! I didn't rate him as a driver at all and much lower as a man. I couldn't be gladder he's out of F1 with his whining pissy attitude  ;;D

HAPPY THANK THANKSGIVING Margi and Bonnie and everyone else there!

Today I did the bills and had money left over. It has been a long time since that happen. Its been a long time since we had some good food, been eatting cheap!

So tomorrow I am taking my truck to have tires put on it. Then I am going to get some good food, like shrimp and maybe even a nice big roast. Then I am going to go get Deveny a birthday gift. Her Birthday is the 12th. Then get some rods and curtains for the camper.

Then come home hide the gift, hang the curtains and cook.

Sunday Church, then maybe over to my Moms house.

Now thats my plans don't know what the rest of the family will be doing. I know Buddy has to cut the grass, take a break watch sports, cut grass, break watch sports. Help bring grocerys in break watch sports.Take out trash, watch sports. Eat in his Den and watch sports. Sunday, he will watch sports after Church.
Till time to go to bed. YUCK!

Thanks Elaine - I will be having about 20 people for dinner on Sunday - looking forward to turkey!  Congrats on having some money left over after bills are paid - that is a great feeling.  The rest of the weekend I will be getting ready for dinner and cleaning up after.  Except Monday - will relax all day I hope!

Hi Bonnie, man my house wouldn't hold 20 people. I can smell all that food. I know you will have a great time.
One of these days I am going to be on your door step, when I hit the lotto :-).

I am taking the easy way out when Thanksgiving gets here for us. My Daughter her new boyfriend are coming here and so is my Mom, I am putting them all in the car along with Deveny and Buddy and JD and going to go to my sister in laws to eat.  I won't have to cook or anything. OK I am taking potato salad and coleslaw. Baking a cake but thats it!

I've been watching paint dry. Really.
Been spraying hot rod parts.
Spray primer. Watch it dry for 20 minutes. Sand. Repeat.
Spray color coat. Watch it dry for 20 minutes, Sand. Repeat.
Spray clear coat, Watch it dry for 20 minutes, Sand, Repeat. Watch it dry for one week. Buff.

Anybody know tanner's mother-in-law's name or phone number?

well since most of my plans got cancelled, wound up sitting here at home all weekend. I take Zombie for walks, watch some tv, play smoke a cig, have an CH attack, and listening to music while chatting onLine and expecting a intnl phone call, but been expecting that for a week  ::)
In other words... I had a bunch of stuff planned this weekend and should have seen my apartment very little. Instead, I was trapped here. It was all good though. I've been mega down, but Thanksto OzzZombah I snapped outof it. Zombie is the collest dog I have ever owned, and he learns quick too. He is napping so I am just gonna take in some TV before blogging later and will try to get ahold of a friend, or not.

Did I mention I have the smartest, coolest dog in the world?
