Well here's a buch that I think you guys will like. There's even one from a guy friend of mine. Everyone please tell me what you think.

Happy :):
Danceing by Firelight
The rain hums a lonly tune.
But here its warm & cozy in my room.
Firelight fickers & flames dance.
Stare in amazment;waiting for my chance.
Jumping up I scare the dog.
And even wake Dad, who's sawing logs.
Around & around me & my sisters twirl.
Even mom prances like a little girl.
Flopping down, out of air.
Laughing at my family's messy hair.
The rain hums a lonely tune.
But here its warm & cozy in my room.

Stare in amazment;glad to have had my chance.

Sad :'(:
The classic it's her or me
You looked at her
and fell in love.
Your heart took off,
on the wings of a dove.
Little did you know,
I felt the same for you.
And know you know,
but aren't sure what to do.

I won't make up your mind.
Just remeber that,
your choice is timed.
I won't tell you
what is right.

it's me or her.

Rejection:
You Love me And I Don't
I thought I knew
what was real.
Now I don't understand,
how I feel.

And for while,
it was this I could see.
But now you've confused me,
because you said you do.
Even you like me,
my feelings are through.

and I don't.

but I won't.

Hi Felicia, I was down in Kent yesterday so I was only on in the morning.
The first one reminds me of Christmas, I know it isn't "Christmassy" but perhaps its the wintery feel. Its an almost Dickensian picture that it conjures.

The second, I can't relate to because I've never given anyone the choice! If they aren't sure I make the decision and move on and thats that.

The third reminds me of a song by the Beautiful South which I love called "I need a little time" Its nothing like it but the sentiment is the same. I'll look up the words and im them to you, I think you'll like it.

Felicia I'm upset that you're upset. I think the world of you as I hope you know and I truly do love your poems. I think you know me well enough to know I'd say if I didn't!
If you stop posting poems it will be our loss, I don't like loosing ANYTHING so please continue. In return I do promise I'll always tell you what I think.
You make this place sparkle and I hate seeing your light dimmed hon.
I'd love to see one from you on the subject of Veterans though if you ever want suggestions for a topic :)

I know Jonny. I'm just getting a little sick of all the shit on here. People are more worried about fighting about stupid shit than replying to something of real meaning. JB you're not a dummy. Hey Felicia,

There are many of us who read your poems and think a lot of them. I'd miss them if you decided to stop.

We may not always post, but we're always here--and we're always watching. :)

Keep up your work--if there's any salvation possible in this strange, screwy world it'll come from words, from music, and from art--from passion and belief, not from the dead seriousness of the practical. Writing is part of the solution, a way of solving the riddle of who we are, where we are going, and where we ought to go.

As for people fighting about stupid sh#t--hey, people have ALWAYS fought about stupid sh#t. That's because they're people and not ethereal beings. ;) Can't see it changing anytime soon. It's really not a big deal until we start heaving actual rocks at each other. Don't take it to heart, okay?

There's an enormous, powerful, splendid world of things and experience sparkling all around--so tell us about it all through the singular lens of your words--only you can speak the things you have to say. Remember. Transform them. Tell them.

I live with a young writer as well, and I know that there's nothing a writer dislikes more than silence. Writing is not just a solitary occupation--but a conversation. How can a conversation take place if you choose to stop posting things?

I like 'em a lot there BB. They're really good. How long have you been writing? George you're right. Silence is hell for a poet because usually it makes them think its horrable. When I show a poem to my friends or any of you here it makes me feel exposed because that's part of me. So when no one replies it makes me feel like I've left a weak spot that can be used as a target. I;m glad you guys like them. Maybe when I get around to it I will put some more on. But not right now. Now its time for bed. I'm beat. I got to meet Paul98 today and had a lot of fun. Hopefull he'll be able to get some of the pics up soon(hint hint Paul ;)). Night all!
