Title: August 4, 2007 (Pics for Helen)
Post by kimmiedawn81 on Oct 4th, 2006, 9:05am
I will be getting married!  We've been talking about it and we picked out my engagement ring and wedding band on Monday, which he should be ordering anytime.  However, it takes 80 days to ship, because it is manufactured in Italy.  It is BEAUTIFUL!  So, as of right now we're just going to have family at our wedding, very small wedding.  Then we're going to have a bigger reception.  We're just going hors d'oerves (sp?) and cake at the reception, to save money.  So, just thought I would share my good news with everyone.

I'm so excited!!!

Not great pics, but the most recent.  The first one added ten pounds to me!  I look horrible.  The second was obviously taken at a Cardinals game.  Brian decided not to smile in that one.

Awww....thanks!  He is a great guy.  I couldn't ask for anyone better.  Just nervous.....we've never lived together and I can count on one hand how many times he's spent the night at my apt. in the 3 years we've been together.  So, it's gonna be a pretty new experience for both of us.

Kimmie I'm overjoyed for you and I hope you'll be very happy.
Now all we need to do is arrange your hen night in Richmond in July of 2007 because there is a law that I've just invented which states that anyone having a small wedding has to have a ginormous hoolie dignified and tasteful hen night with all her clusterfriends  ;;D
Now you wouldn't want to break the law would you?!
The only other extremely important consideration is pics, pics and more pics. In fact you can start now with a nice pic of the two of you for us to celebrate your engagement! (Oh and did I mention honeymoon's in England are lovely?!)

Congratulations on your upcoming nuptials. Going small is the way to go to save money for other things.

I went to a wedding last month with an open bar.  The bar bill came in at a modest $17,000.00!

Oh, we're having a cash bar.  We're not spending money so that everyone can drink.  We don't drink, so those who want to drink can pay for their drinks.

Needless to say there were quite a few shit faced people towards the end of the night.

If only family is invited, I'll save the date.  It's only a 4-5 hour drive or so for me.  Plus, if you are nice and get married during baseball season, I can finally take my wife to her first game at the new Busch Stadium.

(Don't worry, I'm only kidding, of course)

Hey - congratz!!!! Please show this following letter to your future husband  ;;D.

Dear Tech Support:
Last year I upgraded from Girlfriend 7.0 to Wife 1.0 . I soon noticed that the new program began unexpected child processing that took up a lot of space and valuable resources.
In addition, Wife 1.0 installed itself into all other programs and now monitors all other system activity. Applications such as Poker Night 10.3, Football 5.0 , Hunting and Fishing 7.5 , and Racing 3.6.
I can't seem to keep Wife 1.0 in the background while attempting to run my favorite applications. I'm thinking about going back to Girlfriend 7.0 , but the uninstall doesn't work on Wife 1.0 . Please help!
Thanks,
Troubled User.....

Dear Troubled User:
This is a very common problem that men complain about.
Many people upgrade from Girlfriend 7.0 to Wife 1.0 , thinking that it is just a Utilities and Entertainment program. Wife 1.0 is an OPERATING SYSTEM and is designed by its Creator to run EVERYTHING. It is also impossible to delete Wife 1.0 and to return to Girlfriend 7.0 . It is impossible to uninstall, or purge the program files from the system once installed.
You cannot go back to Girlfriend 7.0 because Wife 1.0 is designed to not allow this. Look in your Wife 1.0 manual under Warnings-Alimony/Child Support . I recommend that you keep Wife 1.0 and work on improving the situation. I suggest installing the background application "Yes Dear" to alleviate software augmentation.
The best course of action is to enter the command C:\APOLOGIZE! because ultimately you will have to give the APOLOGIZE command before the system will return to normal anyway.
Wife 1.0 is a great program, but it tends to be very high maintenance . Wife 1.0 comes with several support programs, such as Clean and Sweep 3.0 , Cook It 1.5! and Do Bills 4.2 .
However, be very careful how you use these programs. Improper use will cause the system to launch the program Nag Nag 9.5 . Once this happens, the only way to improve the performance of Wife 1.0 is to purchase additional software. I recommend Flowers 2.1 and Diamonds 5.0 !
WARNING!!! DO NOT, under any circumstances, install Secretary With Short Skirt 3 .3 . This application is not supported by Wife 1.0 and will cause irreversible damage to the operating system!
Best of luck,
Tech Support
