Just dropping in to let you all know I'm still here from time to time. Been really busy with trying to make ends meet and find ways to begin again. I'm working for an audiology clinic again, and for the most part I am really enjoying it... could certainly wish for a larger wage though as with the so called oil boom here in Alberta housing costs etc are skyrocketing out of control. I just got a notice of rent increase that will result in over half of my monthly wage going out in rent alone. On the other hand though, I am really enjoying being back in close contact with my huge family. My daughter just gave birth 2 weeks ago to my second grandson, who caught everyone by surprise when he decided to be a Virgo instead of a Libra and arrived 3 weeks before his anticipated due date. Everything went smoothly though, and he is just as sweet as can be. His name is Brody Thomas, and big brother Tanner (2 1/2) thinks he is pretty cool, and likes the fact that they have a "Baby Momitor" so he can hear when his Baby Brover wakes up.
I try to keep up with all of you, your antics, your angst, and your sorrows and joys. Helen cracks me up on a regular basis, Elizabeth sends me cards and they always seem to arrive when I most need a pick-me-up :)- Thank you Liz ;).
I am busy right now planning a big birthday party for my mom's 80th birthday, and really looking forward to seeing all of my extended family together in one place for a day. I will be seeing great neices and nephews I haven't met yet, and aunts and uncles I haven't seen for years, as well as all my brothers, sisters, and the accompanying in-laws and outlaws therewith. Should be fun.

We don't have any boom here but lots in common with jobs that don't pay good enough.

Sounds like a fantastic birthday for mom planned.

Its good to see you Annette, I miss you! Hoping you can drop in more often soon but in the meantime just don't forget you're loved okay?
Your new grandson is gorgeous, he looked quite big until I saw him snuggled into that arm and realised what a poppet he is :) Take a deep sniff of that gorgeous baby smell and bottle it for me will you? I love that!

Good to hear from you, Annette. Sorry about the hurdles of increased rent, etc....but I'm glad to hear that you are back with your big family - that sounds really wonderful! Nothing like being around family. :) Please keep on updating us from time to time!

You know this crowd can't go too long without updated baby pics, anyway... ;)
