You wanted em so here they are. And happy one just for you.

A Shadering Goodbye
They stare at each other,
in a longing loving light.
Yet sadly they must part.
They hear the breaking of eachother's heart.
"Don't leave." She whispers.
"But I must. For our love is only lust."
One more kiss to say goodbye.
Holding on so tight it makes her cry.
He walks away with a stony face.
She touches her lips to remember the taste.
He stops and slowly looks back.
Dreading this terrible act.
There's silence all around.
Because two shadered hearts lay on the ground.

Everything About You
The light that fills yours eyes,
gives me the hope to carry on.
The love that we share,
holds me high above the pain.
The strangth in your arms,
makes me feel safer than I ever have before.
The softens in you words,
lulls me to a peacefull sleep.
The things that you do,
reminds me that you love me.
The way that we are together,
makes me love everything about you.

:oNO! First of all I haven't had a boy friend for almost 2 years now. And second of all he wasn't that much of a jerk. I wrote this for a friend that just broke up with her boyfriend. I just loved it so much I had to share it.

Hi Felicia, your writing is so evocative, it really stirs emotions. The first one was so desperately sad I could have cried (I know, I'm a wuss! ::) ) It brought back some memories from when I was a lot younger and had m heart broken for the first time.. very bitter sweet.
You have a way of encapsulating emotions and intensifying them which, sometimes, is like a smack in the face. That is NOT a criticism! Rather it's praise for having so much insight into other's feelings.

Felicia, Thank you very much! I liked them both, but must admit I prefer the second. I think the first is still a shade too dark for me. It's not that I only see the world through rose colored glasses but having a 10 year old granddaughter myself the depth of emotion you express scares me.

You are very old for your age!

You're welcome. I tryed for the longest time to write a happy one about something that meant nothing to me. But finally I realize that I needed to write about something or someone that made me happy. So that's what you got. I'm glad everyoneliked it but I'd like to hear what some more of you thought (on either one).
