WHY are they trying to start another panic about the bird flu... Last year they said it was coming...... the year before they said we didnt have enough regular flu vacine. No one got flu shots and no one got the flu... duh...? What is up with the panic that they are trying to cause over and over again..... How can they predict a pandemic that may NEVER COME to BE? ree

The media is joke in this country. They are just another part of the ruling class elite. Screw 'em.

It's this week's panic, I guess. When there's nothing new, they'll recycle the old stuff. What's got them wrought up, most likely, is the relationship that's been found between today's bird flu and the influenza virus of the 1918 pandemic. That was an H-N virus as well. They resequenced the DNA from bodies buried in Alaska during the pandemic. (Don't ask.) So now we know exactly what the 1918 virus was. Still, it's old news. Nothing new.

Yep, the 1918 flu killed 20 million people. It's something to be aware of, all right, but so far the present-day H5N1 virus hasn't made the jump from bird-to-people to people-to-people transmission. It may never do so. We'll get plenty of warning if it does.

There's always some version of the bird flu around. Probably has been for a million years.

FWIW, I think it's something to be cogniscent of, but we don't have to get to the point of stockpiling food and barricading ourselves away in compounds in the hills yet--something I heard being advocated a day or so ago.

There's always something to worry about. If we got all leaky around the underwear anytime anything new came along,
we'd be in a constant state of panic. Although maybe that's how the manipulators would like us to be.

I believe Mother Nature is trying very hard to find a way to reduce some of our population on this Planet. Sooner or later she will, most likely, succeed. Hopefully not in our lifetimes. I just try to be aware but not worried, as what is to come will come with no control from me or the Press. Just my $.20. Skyhawk5
