sucks ass! Blech...got broncitus or the flu or something and am in high cycle at the same time. Can't tell the difference between a hit starting and the dull pounding that has been in my head for the last 3 days. Nothing like getting a K8 and can't breath the O2 and then having to wait for the trex to work...sheesh Can't sleep, so that has made this cycle just oh so much fun :-/ No pity party, just needed to vent before blowing my nose and going back to my deathbed! Ugghhh...

Got me last year, I was so sick ...I'll spare you the vivid details, but my body wasn't absorbing any meds, they all came back out too fast. So my lithium stopped working, the cafergot wouldn't stay down, I feel for you bro, that was the week from hell!!!!!

That cold may be part of the CH. When in cycle ch masks a bad cold, flu or sinus infection. I never know if I am coming or going when it starts. Sad to hear it.

Whenever I get a cold or flu it makes my ch 10x worse, much more intense and frequent. I can protect myself with most from imitrex but not all. It really sucks.

Sorry, Tom--the combination of CH and the crud sounds truly nasty.

It's odd...but upon reflection, I can't remember a single time in forty years of episodic CH when I had CH and anything else at the same time. Could be partly because I don't seem to catch colds or the flu very often. Could be a complete coincidence. But even when my kid was small, and I was catching nasty kindergarten-generated viruses from her all the time, I never had CH and a cold/flu at the same time.

Strange to think of, now that it's been mentioned.

I'm sorry. I know how it feels.

It's like your head never leaves a kip 3-4. It is always there with the sinus pressure and your head feeling 30 feet thick and sore.

Here's a tip: take some chicken noodle soup and add cayenne pepper. Add as much as you can handle if not more. It DOES help.

Thanks for the wishes everyone! I'm back among the living. I did half days on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Thursday I went in and went home about 20 minutes later...my staff sent me home. Friday I went in and my boss sent me home, saying that I had nothing to prove and didn't need to be a hero. Actually escorted me out the door. Made me feel good. Today was spent putting together baby stuff, pack and play, crib, swings, bouncers, stroller, etc, etc. No rest for the wicked! Still not 100% but am 100% better than I was during the week. It has been a joy getting hit, I'm thinking that the antibiotic kicked my meds ass as well as my botox...bastards! I just got that botox treatment, too! :-/ Oh well, better to be able to breath than anything, I guess. Me and pneunomia(sp) don't get along so well. Hope you all have a great reat of the weekend. I'm spending Sunday sleeping on the couch, only to be interupted by football. 8)
