Title: In cycle Post by sandie99 on Sep 25th, 2006, 9:17am It's official: I'm back in cycle... :( I've had 3 hits today (it's 4pm in here). The left side of my face still feels odd although it has been 4 hours since the last hit ended... :( If today's hits tell what kind of cycle I'm going to have... well, then it's going to be the most difficult one yet. Let's just hope that it's going to just another cycle - I don't want to turn chronic again. :-/ Best wishes & PF time to us all, Sanna |

Title: Re: In cycle Post by georgej on Sep 25th, 2006, 10:08am Sorry to hear that you're back in cycle, Sanna. It's fall--a tough time for a lot of us. Hope it's a short and uneventful one. Lean on us, and make sure to lean on your supporter as well--he sounds like a great guy. Relying on others for a little help when you need it isn't a bad thing. Best wishes and pain-free vibes to you from Idaho.... George |

Title: Re: In cycle Post by Richr8 on Sep 25th, 2006, 7:25pm So sorry Sanna. I know those words are thin hearing them from where you are, but I'll be thinking about you. I'm not far behind if the last fourteen years are any indication. Of course, I always believe I'm not going to have another cycle. |

Title: Re: In cycle Post by E-Double on Sep 25th, 2006, 8:01pm May it be an easy ride! You'll do fine and trust me on this one.........having a new job will actually make things easier. You will find that times that you may have ran away in the past will now pass because they have to. You will have less angst because you have to. You will be wonderful because you are! :-* |

Title: Re: In cycle Post by Batch on Sep 26th, 2006, 12:47am Sana, Big vibes and a little something for you. Hope it helps. http://i105.photobucket.com/albums/m236/petebatch/AwesomeSunflower1.jpg If you've not already tried it, ask your doc about Neurontin (gabapentin). With a few very minor exceptions due to late doseing, I've been CH free for almost 3 weeks since starting the gaba a bit prior to mid cycle. Max PF time to you and all. Batch |

Title: Re: In cycle Post by sandie99 on Sep 26th, 2006, 12:15pm Thank you all so much for your kind words. :) Today has been a lot brighter day; just shadows, no hits (yet). I just feel like I've been hit by a bus and couple trucks from yesterday's hits. But tired and shadowing is much, much, much better than getting hit! I've read about the kudzu available in here and it's not as good as some other ones. A friend of mine is moving to London some time in October and she promised to send me some of Holland & Barrett's taurine as soon as she's settled. I'm going to add that to my ch kit as soon as it arrives. I feel hopeful... I can beat this thing! I was, though, surprised, how low my sprits fell with the first hits of this cycle. I thought I knew better... But the fighter is back and she's well stock up with Red Bull, caffeine tablets and knowledge! ;) And it sure helps to know that when it's night in here, its day to many of you so I can always find someone to talk to. :) Just knowing that helps a lot! I don't plan to scare my supporter away with too much of ch stuff too soon! ;;D I hope lots of strength to everyone! :) PF days & nights to us all, Sanna |
