Ladies, you'll appreciate this :P
So the summer being over and no more chlorinated pool water for me, I decided to color my hair. Lovely color called Cinnamon Kiss. With 3X the radiant highlights! Really very pretty and evens out the summer streaks and icky mousy blonde growing back- that ewwww skunky look.

I emptied bottle 1 into bottle 2, added the fragrance per the instructions and shook..........and shook.........and shook............till it was fully mixed. Yep, directions followed to the letter.

Work the color thru, nice and evenly and while the timer was going the predetermined 25 minutes, I noticed how red the color looked. Not alarmed I tell myself, after all, its Cinnamon Kiss.

I follow the next few steps, rinsing, conditioning, then drying my long tresses in my normal fashion. Imagine my surprise when in the mirror reflecting back at me is my glorious Cinnamon Kiss - EXCEPT for the long GREY streaks framing my shocked face! Must be highlights #'s 2 and 3 cuz they sure as shit weren't in the highlight package last time! LOL

Actually, I think I'm kinda diggin on it. But then, that could be the wine consumed during the waiting period [smiley=laugh.gif]

Jen - I think we'll change your name to Calamity Jane. You get yourself into more mix ups than anyone I know.

Thanks for sharing the moments - it always makes me smile.

After reading your trials with hair colouring - think I'll just stick with the gray!!!

I think I have you beat, Jen

I once used the Gresion(sp?) for men on my fu-man-shu and didnt read the "Apply only to area"......I had this shit every where and it wouldnt wash off.....LMAO ;;D

I had a full bead.....LOL [smiley=laugh.gif]

Carol, I'll never claim to be perfect, and I guess that's the beauty part: I'll always have plenty of opportunities to laugh at myself, and have no problem sharing that laugh with others. Its what makes us who we are. Me? Queen Dork! LOL

Jonny darlin, ummmmmmmmm just where were you tryin to put that Grecian????????? You don' t need it anyway, you're handsome as hell without it. Just do somn with that toof, k? ;)

I tried an ash blonde on my hair to 'tone it down' and it came out GREEN.......tried a champaign blonde and got PINK hair. Tried this henna stuff for shine before a wedding we were goin to and it came out deep dark dishwater greyish dull blonde ? Now all that's in style Pam

Jen,

Sometimes I think that the saying should go: comedy is easy, dyeing hair is hard...

you know, I've dyed my hair too many times to recall. And the last time I did it, I used my fave shade of red, which gave the perfectly red color the last time. This time I was not that happy... it did not look as red. And now, just few weeks later, I can see too much of my normal color! :P My hair usually keeps all the new colors for a long, long time. I was expecting to see this view sometimes in December.
