Yesterday's farmers' market was a delight of color. All I wanted was my winter supply of maple syrup, but the temptations were many.

Oh Patti, what wonderful pictures!!! I bet it would be loads of fun to go to market with you. :)

Mums are my absolute favorite and seeing the pics of the apples, blueberries (I thought they were grapes! lol) & cheese is makin me HUNGRY!!! ;;D

Wow. It's so huge. Ours is one little block on one street.

I go for the flowers. I get my honey from a local farm, & a coworker's relative.

Melly, mums are one of my favorites too. They're one of the few things that bloom in the fall for me.

Edited to add: LOL, the bee guy deserves a good slappin', but he sells a lot of honey cause of that hat.

I haven't been to that market in about 25 years. It was always a blast.

Did you get your maple syrup?

Brewcrew just brought home a quart from a friend he works with whose family produces it - it's so incredibly yummy!

$8 a quart - does that compare to yours?

At $8 a quart, you did good! I like the "B"grade. I cook with it quite a bit, and my half gallon was $20.

If those are Concord grapes they are huge.

No pigs, Mel, just free-range chickens, pasture-raised beef, and trout.
