Dear friends,

I can't even express the overwhelming feelings of love and friendship from so many people!! I knew Ken talked to a lot of people but I never knew just how many!!
I just want to thank you all for your kind words to us about Ken. He is a very special guy to us also and I really appreciate the out pouring of caring. Thank you so very very much!! Just remember how much he cared about you guys too!!!!

Well Here is a crazy thing to tell you all. On Saturday I came home from a BBQ with another family that is friends with Ken. It was dark and I went to get the mail and tripped over something and broke my ankle in two places and my leg. sooo... I have been in bed for a week I had surgery on it on monday the 11th. My sisters have taken good care of me. The kids are definately learning more resposibility. I am not to moble and won't be for two months or so..
But I just take one day at a time.
This is nothing compared to the pain you all and Ken have to suffer. I will make it through. Thanks to all of you

Jody, I'm so sorry about the injury! I like to look at my injuries as God's little way of saying "slow down & take care of YOU". ;)

Yes. You are part of the family.

Things like stumbling around...like we know you do..... ::) 8)
are a bit more likely after all that trauma so the best thing you can do is post and post. It'll be good therapy for everybody.

We are all crazy as well, and you are welcome here to vent, cry, laugh, yell. Whatever. It does not matter what you need at that moment, this family is here for you. You are officially adopted by the cluster family and you can not get away from us now. ;;D

Please be careful though. I know Ken is watching over you, but you have to wonder if he started laughing after he saw that you where ok. Saying something like, well watch where you are stepping already.... ;)
