You'll sell the hell outta them for sure! It kinda has a fall-ish look, which would be great this time of year. Maybe seasonal would be a good marketing tool - like for xmas babies, themed for the holidays, spring with bunnies and tulips etc. |

I think the candy ones were good, and my favorite candy is any kind of hersheys w/nuts, but not melted. The cigar cake grossed me out. But I've never had the appreciatiation of a fine cigar. This is the one that was done for Savannah's baby shower. It took 3 people to carry this into the house and set it up for the shower! This sucker stood 3 feet tall and took up most of the room it was set in on display. Don't let yourself get carried away, even though it's tempting, I know. Savannah's "cake" gave her a 3 month supply of diapers. My cakes all have a candy accent to them (keeps me reigned in actually), and since my attempt at hard candy lolly's today turned out not good, I will be making some yummy Ghiraredelli baby bottle & pacifier lollipops tomorrow that will go around my cakes. ;;D Someday tho, I'd like to build a 10 tier Sweet Bottom Cake!!! Perhaps for a celebrities baby shower or welcome baby party?? I'd build one now, but that'd just be a waste of time...unless I did it for the local newspaper or something. hehe ;) ;;D |

It took her 2 months to assemble it (and probably to afford it!) It took three boxes for Corinne just to take the damn thing home. Your cakes are so much better! I thought that cigar cake was great :) made me want to run down to the corner store and get one of those bubble gum cigars! Your cakes are ones that could be delivered to the hospital right after the birth, too, like the floral bouquets. Plus, then the new Mum could hand out candy to her visitors! :D |
