What did we do so wrong in our former lives to have this happen, especially invading our sleep? It sure makes life harder when you are tired and scared to go to bed. [smiley=huh.gif]

Try to think of it this way....We are the Chosen One's. :-/ Doesn't work, either but maybe it helps? I've often thought the same thing myself but could never figure it out. At least we are in good company since Poe had them, too. Gotta love The Raven!

I get the Why me syndrome every time I start a cycle. It comes with the territory.

Have you tried Melatonin. It is the best thing for the night time visitors. 3-9 mg per eve before sleep. Most of the clusterheads take 9 mg.

Wow, I did not know that. Well, that explains a lot. In eighth grade, I memorized and recited "The Raven", and I always liked his writing. Hmmm, maybe that's why I got CH.

Actually, there is an answer, but it's another question: Why not me? ;)

I'm convinced it's the craps table that is genetics.

Freidrich Nietzche, too, maybe. But I won't go there as far as the personality thing, since Nietzche ended up institutionalized and catatonic. Although Poe ended up semi-crazy and dead, come to think of it.

If my having CH means that someone else doesn't, then it's worth it.

my daughter sat up with me ALL NIGHT long last night, bringing me ice, my oxygen, kind of keeping a vigil over her half dead mom laying down in the hot shower just to be there if I needed anything.....she's 13 year old!!! I hate that this takes over my life to the point my baby girl loses sleep to watch over me....i actually felt better knowing she was there....so I feel ya, I know what you mean when you say why me....I don't really ask that, I ask why my daughter, why my husband, why my family....they must feel so helpless!! the only people who truly understand are YOU GUYS.....

As for me. I was mean to someone in 4th grade. Wouldn't pick him to be on my dodgeball team in gym. In the big scoreboard that's where I went wrong and got the CH affixed to my helmet............

another amazing thing a clusterhead has said so worth remembering. :)

I have always gotten to the "why me" stage around the 3rd month of this hell. but its answered now with, "because you are strong enough to handle it". Don't know whose voice I hear saying it, but I listen.

Jen and Jean,

Those are awesome answers. Everytime I get the "why me?"s, I look at my wife and kids and thank God it isn't them.

Also, we have so many friends with sick kids and other horrible things, really makes me deal easier.

I'd rather pass on the diaper wearing, sitting in a wheelchair years. 8)
