Today was a Sad day for the UK, they brought home the bodies of the 14 service men killed when their plane crashed in Afganistan last week. This is UK biggest loss in one go since the Falklands. I know you and the Canadians too have lost many many young men in Iraq and Afganistan, so could we all spare some little time to think of their families left behind, their children, and of those who continue to stand in harms way for us.

Sorry to read of what happened to those soldiers, they gave themselves to cover the cost of freedom.

May God Bless and Keep the UK at this time of sadness and sacrifice.

My prayers go out to the families, friends, and countrymen of these brave soldiers and my everlasting respect and thanks to the soldiers themselves :'(

No matter what side of the pond, losing our young men and women is a huge price to pay for freedom.
My sympathies to all the families of all the people who have made the ultimate sacrifice.
I wish it would end.

Our thoughts and prayers are with those families. A terrible price to pay, but all the service men and women have, and will always have, our deepest respect and admiration.
