I got to exercise my right as a citizen of the United States and voted in the primary election before I came to work.

I don't know, I thought it was a pretty good thing.

i made the best omellette ever on Sunday morning. shitake mushrooms, crimini mushrooms, finely sliced onions and broccoli, sauteed in olive oil and placed in omellette with brie. a few slices of watermelon as a garnish and it was a perfect sunday morning.

that was good.

Hey o Helen, everytime I see someone says SuperCHenz I think of you with a cape waving in the wind off your back, and nuggie sandwich in your hand.   :D

OK!! Got one - I made dinner last night so I'm ahead of the game today and my daughter can eat early tonight instead of the late hours we usually eat.

That's a reeaaally good one in my book.   ;;D

Making plans to take my daughter fishing on Friday.  We'll probably head to the South Fork canyon, or maybe The Place at the &*%$% River.  The &*%$% is a pretty cool location--we fish it at its confluence with the main Snake River.  In the evenings, the rainbows and browns from the main Snake come upriver to feed on the caddis nymphs floating down.  They're BIG--heads the size of fists coming up, gulping away.  Causes fisherman's tremors.

I've got a Sparkle Caddis nymph pattern that I made up that's deadly on them--very simple pattern with a copper bead head and a dubbed body made of chopped red and green Krystal Flash, tied on a scud hook.  Works like a charm.  Could be some dry fly action on Elk Hair Caddis, too.  On the EHC's, instead of the usual twist of rooster hackle palmered along the body, I use a couple of Cul de Canard feathers palmered back to the bend--makes a nice, wavy, leggy thing going on.

The Place is protected on all sides by all the poison ivy in the world.  I kid you not.  I never saw so much poison ivy.  Best to wear waders at all times, hose them off afterward, and scrub them with baking soda.  And take care not to touch much of anything while you're in there.

That and rattlesnakes.  Lots of snakes down there.

I wouldn't recommend trying The Place.  In fact, it is a very good idea to stay hundreds and hundreds of miles away from it.

I think a pending fishing trip is a good thing.  One of the best, as a matter of fact....

 ;;D

Best,

George

Oh wait!  I just thought of one.  Currently I am PF, no cycle yet, so I guess that's one good thing!

I can be sure to stay far away  ;;D

P.S. That was a Sparkle Caddis you said? Just want to make sure I take them all out of my tacklebox.

How about multiple choice:

a.   Have you seen the picture of E-dub's little one?
b.   I have got 4 hours of sleep both the last 2 nights... only people here can understand why that is so good.
c.   Easy Mac..... now in cups for even more easy!
d.  You are here at ch.com where you should be.

If none of those work, I will post a picture of Johnny's crotch.  Isn't just easier to be happy than have to dodge that?

Goat,   when you stay away from here for too long, people put out APB's on you because they miss you. And when you check in they call you names.  Because they love you.  ;)

well, let's see, the sun is shining, it's 85 out......at night, one can feel fall in the air..and it's perfect!
The cats are all asleep on our bed, the husband is asleep in his chair, my grandson's here playing with me, oh, and the laundry's all done!
Think we'll go take a walk together, the leaves are stunningly orange and golden right now.
Smile, Ghost-even if your are faking a smile, think of the people you'll fake out!
Besides, ultimately, LIFE  is GOOD! (I learned that right here)

Plenty of people here love ya, Goat-man!

Doesn't everyone have one?  First time I used the secret login screen, it gave me a choice of which Johnny crotch to download.

Easy mac in the cup...... add water to line... 3.5 mins.  Add cheese-like powder.... stir  ENJOY!!!!!!!  They are like $0.80 at Walmart here.
